We are so proud and excited to have this "precious jewel" here at EagleRock, we could not think of a better name for her!  But don't let that sweet, innocent face fool you.  She is certainly a fireball with a sparkling personality and tons of attitude and enthusiasm for what life has to offer.  In fact the judges think so too!  She came out with a bang in her first U.S. all-breed shows over the 2002 Memorial Day weekend on the Inland-Empire Circuit to collect three Reserve Winner's placings and then go Winner's Bitch out of the 6-9 puppy class for her first AKC championship point!

Her first trip to Canada in August was eventful too with Jewel going Winner's Bitch out of the Senior Puppy Class and Best of Opposite Sex to her studly kennelmate Fonzi for her first 2 Canadian points!  She has since gone Winner's Bitch twice more out of the puppy class for a total of six (6) CKC points!  Thank you to all the  judges for recognizing her quality and beautiful movement!

Jewel has a bit more maturing to do before she can compete with the older girls in the showring but she started out the 2003 show season well with a 3rd Senior Bitch win at GSDCA Northwest Region Futurity Show held in Portland, Oregon in May.  I am very proud of her and know that this is only the beginning of a very promising show career.
